Triveni

Gopi Talab

After visiting the great Nageshwar Jyotirnling temple , the next stoppage is Gopi Talab ( Pond of Gopi ). People says that once "Gopi"s ( devotees of Lord Krishna ) took bath there. There is an ancient temple of Gopis.

Gujarat Government has to maintain this historic place. Still it is in the ancient age. One more good thing was seen there -- Mahaprabhu ki Baithak. It is said that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ( one of devotees of Lord Krishna in Modern Age ) used to sit near the pond. That place is still called as the meeting place of Mahabprabhu i.e. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Those who love Bhagwan ( Lord ) Krishna, the place assumes an utmost importance.  Please visit there. Any body who comes to Dwarika , visits here also.

Rukmani Temple

A few kilometers away from Dwarkadheesh temple , we visited the temple of Rukmaniji. Rukmani ji was one of the PATRANIS ( Wives) of Lord Krishna. The temple is also very old and situated near the sea cost. In the temple , one may take prasad and blessed by the darshan of Rukmani ji. One has to leave shoes outside the temple , hence we could not stay for long time in the temple as the land was just burning.

Rukmani ji was the AVATAR of Godess Lakshmi ji.

Dwarika Temple

With my family I visited the ancient city of Dwarika in Gujarat. A hindu family must visit this place for pilgrimage if it wishes to complete the travelling of all four DHAMS. Being an important place, it is not much given importance by the Government. The small town has a number of old small buildings including guest houses and small hotels. It is well connected through railways and roads. The nearest city is Porbunder , pilgrims basically reach porbunder first and then Dwarika or Somnath. The temple of Dwarikadheesh is a great place from religious point of view. It was set up by Jagadguru Shankaracharya as one of its four MUTHS'. The original city of Dwarika is now submerged in to Arabian Sea ,its just the replica of the old city set up by Lord Krishna.  Good Hotels are Hotel Bansi and Hotel Damji. There is a small restuarant run by a marwari brahmin on the groundfloor of Hotel Damji. Most of the people from Northern India take breakfast to Dinner at this place.
The temple campus has a number of small temples including temple of queens of Lord Krishna , Sons of Krishna , Temple of Shankaracharya and temple of great saints of Ancient and medieval India. Photography inside the temple is prohibited. After half an hour to one hour one can enter in to the main temple of Lord Krishna and blessed with Darshan. There are two main gates to enter and come out of the temple. One gate is opened towards sea coast. It is not recommendable to take bath in sea water as it is contaminated near the temple.
Take a visit ... everybody will enjoy ...
